ASP Level 2

When do you need a Level 2 electrician?

A Level 2 electrician is licensed to work on the service between your home or business and the electricity supply network. Laurlec can assist with both normal and Level 2 electrical work.

A Level 2 electrician is licensed and authorised to install a power meter in your home. You need a meter to keep track of your power usage and billing.

Distributors can disconnect a supply for safety or other reasons, and the work has to be done by a Level 2 electrician. Once the issue is resolved, a Level 2 electrician reconnects it.

Power reaches you either underground by cable or overhead by pole and line. Level 2 electricians install both, and can replace poles and cables.

Single phase suits most homes, 3 phase is the norm for industrial and commercial use. To switch your supply from single to 3 phase, you need a Level 2 electrician.
